No Excuses: Domestic Violence Prevention

My goal is to obtain my medical doctorate (M.D.) and practice as a neonatologist, while also working as a freelance beauty editor in my spare time.

Valedictorian (Hudson View Christian Academy) at age sixteen; Congressman Eliot Engel Achievement Award; Dean’s List; New York State Association of Christian Schools duet acting, poetry, and photography state winner; Association of American Medical Colleges ‘AspiringDocs.org’ national video contest winner.; currently Miss Westchester 2012

I enjoy reading  both fiction and nonfiction, training to become a macaron connoisseur, watching Jeopardy! with my family, and filming videos to post on my YouTube channels, which have over 65,000 views.

Joining a "Samba Line" of Brazilian dancers in Rio de Janeiro -- it was exhilarating!

Competed at the U.S. National Synchronized Figure Skating Championships; Can read a 300 page book in under an hour; YouTube beauty guru with over 55,000 video views.

Volunteer/legal intern at My Sisters’ Place (domestic violence support center in Westchester County); Breast cancer fundraising (Dig Pink, Making Strides); Holy Trinity Lutheran Church volunteer; America Reads Tutor.

In my year as Miss Westchester, my focus is going to be on serving the people of Westchester. I plan on volunteering throughout the county and sharing my experiences with young people through personal visits with the goal of inspiring them as a positive role model. I would also love to start an engaging YouTube channel documenting my year of service.

After my year as Miss Westchester, I want to be remembered as an empowered young woman who taught others to love themselves, follow their dreams, and never accept being treated without respect.

“My mission is life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.” – Maya Angelou
